Re: WADA 2011 Prohibited List and medical controls of your athletes

The 2011 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods is now available on CEV’s website:

www.cev.lu / download section / Medical documents / International standards. This List will go into effect on January 1st, 2011.

The 2011 List reflects the latest scientific advances and offers a number of noteworthy changes compared to the 2011 List. We invite you to read carefully the summary of the major modifications also available on our website.

We urge you to put these new documents available on your website and to inform consequently your teams, clubs and medical responsible.

Additionally, in order to guarantee the health of all athletes, the CEV Board of Administration wishes to remind you of the necessity to foresee regular medical controls for all the athletes participating in the official volleyball and beach volleyball competitions of the CEV.
