Tournament is shaping up It looks as though this year the turn out in Perth will be up on last year's with entries from 114 teams currently received across 8 divisions. Thanks to Dundee University for helping to push this number up by entering 5 teams in a range of divisions. Mixed Division 3 continues to attract most entries with 34 teams so far. Last year's best dressed team are coming back playing in Women's Division 1 - different name (Sets in the City), going for a certain look maybe? Hopefully our overseas entries from USA, Germany, Czech Republic and Faroes will not encounter any travel disruptions due to the volcanic ash from Iceland. The indoor tournament is shaping up nicely. The Men's tournament features the Scotland team and the US Athletes both back after an absence of a year - the US Athletes won last time the teams met. A team to keep your eye on could be UK United which features a number of Scotland Junior internationalist as well as a couple a GB beach players. Weather BBC Weather: the technical outlook - Monday 24 May 2010 to Sunday 30 May 2010 End of the month - signs of change As we head into the last week of the month, it looks as if high pressure will keep the weather settled in most areas, especially in southern, central and western parts. It will feel warm and humid, and even quite hot at times where any prolonged sunny spells break through. Northern and north eastern areas will tend to be cloudier and breezier at times with a higher risk of showers, and here it is likely to turn cooler towards the end of the month. Metcheck currently suggests that both the Saturday and Sunday will be Partly Cloudy...but dry!
